What’s your tip for starting an eco-journey?

It’s always a hassle to find a place to start, so just start by replacing the things you need with an eco-friendly alternative. And always think what you can do with the things you believe to be trash – they never are!

When or who awakened your love for nature?

It was as a kid thanks to my dad. He loves his garden and plants, and would always be the one to tell us we should go outside and play instead of staying inside. He was also the one that would scream we were wasting water when we took forever in the shower…who knew I would grow to be a nature lover like him.

What’s your eco- hack?

Reuse your coffee: put the coffee rests in a jar and put it in the fridge – it will absorb odors and help you keep a smell-free fridge. Wash and reuse glass jars! If you buy pasta sauce or anything that comes in a glass jar, keep it! You can wash it and use it to store pasta, rice, tea..anything.

Three words that describe you…

Organized, honest, creative.

What’s your favorite eco-minded travel destination?

Trees and mountains. From parks to forests, anything that has trees I will love. And mountains are always a great option.

What’s your tip for starting an eco-journey?

Start at home, this is the place where you are the most and it’s a quick benefit as you can do so many little things with a big difference. We wrote a blog post about it to help you get started.

When or who awakened your love for nature?

Probably around my twenties when I had my first big trip overseas. Younger me wasn’t really looking at nature. But the older I get to more I appreciate it.

What’s your eco- hack?

Declutter, because when you have a little you get very creative and realize you don’t need much and you are more likely to reuse the things that are available.

Three words that describe you…

enthusiastic, open-minded, adventurous

What’s your favorite eco-minded travel destination?

The woods, in general. No matter what season it’s always a good idea to go for a hike, or camping, mountain bike riding or staying in a cabin.
